A full-service service.

The Emantix online service is included with the Emantix software license and is a critical dimension of the Emantix platform. The service is perpetual, supported by annual maintenance.

The service connects through your firewall to the Emantix appliance and allows your IT administrators or business owners to import critical updates, security updates, service packs, new toolkit applications and APIS, features and functions, and updates to the Core Vocabulary (new words and phrases). Administrators can maintain control over which features and tools will become accessible internally to corporate servers and desktops using the Emantix administration Interface.

While the Emantix Service provides a proactive "pull" service that allows for automatic detection, download, and installation of updates, administrators can opt to receive e-mail notification when updates are ready for download and run the process manually.
