Welcome to the Emantix Toolkit. Once you install the Emantix platform, you will gain access to a variety of useful applications, functions and plugins. We even provide a robust set of APIs and libraries, so if you don't find the functionality you want, or we don't yet support your mission critical applications, you can build it yourself, quickly and easily, using our web service.

Why this toolkit approach? Years of enterprise software experience has shown us time and time again that everyone who has ever used any software product has at one time or another wished for a function or feature that the product simply did not offer. Sometimes, that function gets built by the vendor as part of the product road map. Other times the function is important enough the customer pays to have it made just for them.

We don't think you should have to wait until we get around to building a function for you, or have to spend an arm and a leg to get what you want. The better a software solution fits the needs of the business, the more used and useful it is. And usefulness is our bottom line.

The Emantix Web Service provides a standardized way for enterprises and third-party vendors to access the rich set of functionality available within the Emantix platform. These web service calls can be made over HTTP protocol. Programmers can develop web service clients in any programming language that supports web service calls. XML data returned from the web service calls can be applied to a variety of business needs.

Emantix provides reference implementation APIs of the above web service calls in Java and .NET to enable systems developers to utilize these APIs instead of developing web service clients from scratch. Our approach provides complete flexibility and empowers businesses to exploit the tremendous power built within the Emantix platform.

APIs for everyone.

Our vision for the Emantix platform is for it to be available from any piece of digital information and any application. While our web service goes a long way to gettting us closer to that goal, additional APIs are available for richer integration and greater usability.

Windows API: Integrates Emantix with Windows and Windows-based applications so we are always a right-click away.

Java API: Gives our customers the flexibilty for deeper integration with their custom Java applications and on non-Microsoft platforms.

Proprietary software specific API: Enterprises run a variety of software applications to fulfill many business needs. We have developed a limited set of APIs for commonly used enterprise applications. Please contact us to learn more about the applications for which we provide these APIs.

Search APIs: While search technology is fundamental to making the Emantix platform operate, we are dependent on no one search solution. In fact, our goal is to support as many search vendors as possible so that the Emantix platform can easily plug into any infrastructure. Currently we support:
